How do I get started?

What sizes do you have?

We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs.  Plus, to enhance your storage experience, our ceilings are exceptionally tall – over 9' high!  Determine the unit size you need by clicking here.  Or just talk with our representative by emailing us or calling us at 717.299.2920.

Do I need my own lock?

We provide you a new, sealed lock as part of the setup process.

Do you offer climate control?

Yes!  All of our basic sizes are available with or without climate control.  Lancaster West is fully climate controlled.  Lancaster East has both climate controlled and standard (non-climate controlled) units.

Do you offer parking of cars, boats, RVs and motorcycles?

Yes!  Lancaster East offers indoor storage for cars, boats and motorcycles.  We also have access to off-site lots for outdoor parking for all types of vehicles near Lancaster West and also near Franklin & Marshall College.  Email or call for details.

Do you rent units month-to-month?

All of our Rental Agreements are month-to-month; No long term agreement is required.  (Some special pricing requires a minimum of 2 months, however.)

How do I pay?

We accept credit and debit payments using MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.  We encourage you to use automatic payment to take the worry out of being on-time.

How do I move out?

One month’s notice is all that’s required.  All Rental Agreements end on the last day of the month, so just get notice to us by the end of the previous month.

Can I let my spouse, kids or a friend have access to my unit?

At Spare Room, you have the choice of allowing access for people you specify, or restricting access only to yourself.
