To start, we can help you determine the right size storage space for you. At Spare Room, we have 6 basic sizes to offer you (see below). Start by making a list of what you're intending to store, then browse through our room drawings and the brief description of what each generally holds. Everyone has a unique set of possessions, and so if you have not used mini storage before, you will likely still have questions after reviewing the guide.

10'x20'

Store the furniture from a small home plus your patio furniture, boxes and miscellaneous items. Great for car storage and boat storage.

10'x15'

About the size of a one car garage. It holds the furniture from a two bedroom apartment or house, plus your boxes and other small items. Also, great for small car storage and boat storage.

10'x10'

It's about half the size of a one car garage. Holds furniture from a one bedroom apartment, plus your boxes, appliances, and miscellaneous items.

5'x15'

This accommodates the furniture from a small one bedroom apartment, several boxes, and a box spring and mattress. It can also hold the contents of a small office.

5'x10'

The size of a large walk-in closet. It will hold a couch and chair plus some boxes and a chest of drawers.

5'x5'

The size of a small walk-in closet. It will hold small furniture, a chest of drawers, or about 50 file boxes.
